Maintenance Supervisor for Residential Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of the Ascend Brightleaf community, including grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This position combines hands‑on technical work with supervisory responsibilities to keep the property operating smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and perform technical and mechanical tasks across the building, grounds, and amenities.
• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues, and complete repairs in line with company policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process to prepare vacant units for new move‑ins.
• Maintain a rotating on‑call schedule to address after‑hours emergencies.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with established procedures and regulatory guidelines.

Required profile

• Experience performing residential property maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to diagnose the source of defects and implement effective solutions.
• Familiarity with safety standards, building codes, and Greystar’s maintenance policies.
• Strong organizational skills to manage work orders and the make‑ready process.
