Maintenance Scheduler - Eglin AFB

About the role

Amentum is recruiting a Maintenance Scheduler for Eglin AFB. The role documents and maintains aircraft, engine, missile and munitions records, develops maintenance schedules to meet mission requirements, and administers work control. It requires a Secret clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze maintenance information and requirements and develop visual presentations.
• Develop plans and schedules, and schedule aircraft, components and munitions through maintenance phases.
• Determine maintenance capabilities to help build operational schedules.
• Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly utilization schedules for maintenance, operational missions and training.
• Use the automated system to schedule and monitor maintenance workload.
• Authorize jobs, set work priorities and completion times, and administer work control.
• Maintain and audit weapons systems records, and historical and flight status records.
• Manage aircraft configuration requirements, TCTOs, special inspections and time-change programs, ensuring accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Qualification as a Scheduler, Maintenance is mandatory.
• Minimum of three years of experience in plans, scheduling and documentation functions.
• Completion of a basic maintenance scheduling course is required.
• High school with math and computer courses is desirable.
• Held an Air Force maintenance management AFSC with the required qualifications; F-16 and engine management experience highly desirable.
• Secret clearance required.

Required skills

• Knowledge of aircraft, engine and equipment operations and logistics management, including maintenance directives, aircraft configuration, TCTOs and delayed discrepancies.
• Knowledge of MIS (CAMS/IMDS) and desktop computer operations.
