Maintenance Operator - Warehouse Robotics

About the role

Exotec designs plug-and-play warehouse robotics solutions. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will support the daily operation and upkeep of automated equipment, helping maximize system availability, safe operations and a seamless customer experience. The job is based in Phillipsburg, NJ.

Key responsibilities

• Operational support: respond to equipment jams on conveyors and workstations, support robot retrieval and recovery during downtime, assist maintenance technicians and promote proper operating procedures with customer operators.
• Clean equipment and remove debris from work areas.
• Support setup, tooling changes, readiness tasks and issue reporting.
• Receive, label, prepare, transport and count materials, supplies and spare parts.
• Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, LOTO practices and complete required documentation.

Required profile

• Basic mechanical aptitude, interest in industrial equipment and ability to learn warehouse automation systems and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to follow work instructions, procedures and maintenance schedules.
• GED or high school diploma.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, customer-focused, able to multitask in a fast-paced warehouse environment and eager to learn.
• Physical ability to use hand tools and lift up to 250 lbs, occasionally lift up to 50 lbs, work from heights up to 50 ft, and stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and reach overhead.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
