Maintenance Manager – Plant Operations

About the role

The Maintenance Manager will report to the Facility Manager and lead the maintenance and plant support team at Anaergia’s bio‑energy facility. This position is responsible for ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant equipment while supporting the facility’s financial and performance targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce world‑class safety and environmental standards across the site.
• Lead, coach and manage a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.
• Oversee all aspects of plant maintenance, engineering, operations and project management.
• Implement procedures and best‑practice initiatives that improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Support the Facility Manager in meeting financial, operational and performance goals.
• Manage contractual matters, vendor relationships and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Drive lean, continuous‑improvement programs to enhance maintenance productivity.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading maintenance teams in an industrial or plant environment.
• Strong commitment to safety, environmental stewardship and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams including engineering, operations and finance.
• Demonstrated skill in developing and executing maintenance strategies that improve equipment uptime.
• Experience managing contracts and vendor performance.
