Maintenance Lead

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Maintenance Lead to support the MTO ASPEX Team in Fort Worth, TX. You will coordinate day‑to‑day maintenance activities for technicians across mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation and fabrication specialties, ensuring equipment reliability and production schedule adherence.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance tasks for multi‑discipline technicians and provide training and work direction.
• Lead Tier I meetings, represent the department, and manage escalation of maintenance issues.
• Perform job plan and critical spare‑part assessments to improve equipment reliability.
• Oversee preventive maintenance (PM) execution, review documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Generate and execute Engineering Change Orders (ECO), Preventive Maintenance Change Requests (PMCR) and Equipment Master Record Forms.
• Provide bimonthly updates on PM, corrective maintenance (CM) and equipment issues to the maintenance manager.
• Ensure shop and satellite cage areas comply with 5S standards and that teams have appropriate tools.
• Lead non‑conformance and complaint investigations, initiate CAPA, and report findings.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Fluent reading, writing and communication skills in English.
• Willingness to work the 6 pm – 6 am shift on a 4‑days‑on/4‑days‑off schedule.
• On‑site work location in Fort Worth, TX.
