Maintenance Controller

About the role

The Maintenance Controller oversees daily fleet maintenance operations across multiple branches, ensuring work is planned, tracked, and executed efficiently. This role supports branch teams and drives consistency throughout the maintenance program.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor day‑to‑day fleet maintenance activities across multiple branches.
• Track maintenance schedules, work orders, and asset readiness to minimize downtime.
• Partner with branch maintenance teams to prioritize and execute maintenance work.
• Maintain accurate records within maintenance systems, ensuring data integrity and visibility.
• Support compliance efforts related to DOT, safety, and quality standards.
• Assist in developing and maintaining preventive maintenance schedules.
• Collaborate with Fleet Services, Safety & Quality, and DOT Compliance teams.
• Identify and escalate maintenance issues impacting operations.
• Support reporting and analysis of maintenance KPIs and performance metrics.
• Assist with onboarding and integration during branch acquisitions.

Required profile

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in maintenance, logistics, or operations.
• Experience in fleet maintenance, equipment management, or a similar field preferred.
• Strong organizational and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
