About the role

Join MANTECH as a MAGTF Operations Expert supporting government and USMC customers in Stafford, VA. You will bridge operational doctrine and technical analysis to deliver data‑driven insights that are practical and aligned with Marine Air‑Ground Task Force capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert for G‑3 assessment activities, reviewing analytical products, data science methodologies, and model outputs through a tactical, operational, and strategic military lens.
• Assess the operational validity of data‑driven findings against Marine Corps doctrine, tactics, techniques, procedures, MAGTF capabilities, and interoperability requirements.
• Evaluate future capabilities, force design initiatives, and science‑and‑technology efforts for operational utility.
• Translate operational problems and command priorities into structured analytical inputs that align technical analysis with decision‑maker needs.
• Prepare and deliver briefs, reports, and assessment products while collaborating with analysts, planners, warfighters, engineers, and SMEs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 15 years of experience without a degree.
• 10+ years supporting military operations, operational planning, assessment, force development, or related activities.
• Expert level knowledge of MAGTF operations, Marine Corps doctrine, tactics, techniques, procedures, and expeditionary warfare principles.
• Experience at MEF, MARFOR, or combatant command planning level, or comparable integrated MAGTF operational planning role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for senior‑level briefings and reports.
