LPN Injection Nurse – Infectious Diseases Clinic

About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct patient care, including IV therapy, in the Infectious Diseases Clinic on Jeff Highway. Working under the direction of a registered nurse, the LPN collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality, personalized care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care and IV therapy to assigned patients.
• Assist and direct ancillary nursing staff with assigned duties.
• Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations and hospital policies.

Required profile

• Current LPN license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• High school diploma or equivalent; no prior experience required, though 1 year of nursing experience is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and interpersonal skills.
