About the role

Join the Cardiology Practice at Indian River Hospital, part of the Cleveland Clinic Health System, providing inpatient and outpatient heart care on Florida’s Treasure Coast. This full‑time LPN position works day shifts and supports a collaborative team delivering state‑of‑the‑art cardiac services.

Key responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care and accurate medication administration.
Document patient records, authorization forms, and laboratory requisitions.
Perform pain assessments, recognize changes in patient status, and report to charge nurse or physicians.
Assist with patient teaching under RN/physician supervision and follow Code Blue protocols.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
Current Florida LPN license.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
One year of clinical experience preferred.

Required skills

Medication administration.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or ALS certification (preferred).
IV certification (preferred).
Computer literacy.
