LPN Ambulatory – OB/GYN

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the OB/GYN unit at Stow Health and Wellness. This full‑time, day‑shift position provides hands‑on patient care, assisting with a variety of women's health procedures and supporting physicians and RNs in delivering compassionate, high‑quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide patient care activities under the direction of RN, physician, or other providers.
• Collect and document objective and subjective patient data, complete nursing assessments, and report findings.
• Implement nursing care plans, administer medications or treatments, and monitor patient responses.
• Observe patients for adverse reactions, perform routine laboratory tests, and educate patients and families.
• Participate in orientation of new employees and share knowledge as assigned.

Required profile

• Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
• Current Ohio LPN license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
• One year of patient‑care experience preferred.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support certification.
