About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Main Campus is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join the DDSI/Colorectal Surgery ambulatory team. This full‑day, daytime position (7:30 am‑6:00 pm) offers a stable schedule with no nights, holidays, or weekends.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide patient care activities under the direction of an RN and/or physician.
  • Collect and document objective and subjective patient data, complete nursing assessments, and report findings.
  • Implement nursing care plans, administer medications or treatments, and monitor patient responses.
  • Observe patients for adverse reactions, perform routine laboratory tests, and educate patients and families.

Required profile

  • Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program.
  • Current Ohio LPN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • Preferred: at least one year of patient‑care experience.

Required skills

  • Ability to perform full‑body motion, lift patients, and stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity with good hand‑eye coordination.
  • Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
