Local Delivery Driver – Class A with Hazmat

About the role

Airgas is seeking a Local Delivery Driver to safely transport compressed gas cylinders to customers throughout the Tyler, TX area. You will operate a company‑provided straight or box truck, manage cylinder flow, and build lasting relationships with business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Load, deliver, and unload compressed‑gas cylinders to external and internal customer locations.
• Accurately record deliveries and pickups on a load manifest and obtain customer signatures.
• Collect empty, rejected, or unsold cylinders and return them to a plant or branch for refilling.
• Follow Airgas safety standards (SAFECOR) and comply with DOT, EPA, FMCSA, FDA, and OSHA regulations.
• Provide assistance in the warehouse or on the dock as needed.

Required profile

• Valid Texas Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Card.
• Hazmat and Airbrake certifications.
• At least one year of professional Class A or B driving experience.
