About the role

Join a dedicated intermodal team in Fort Wayne, IN, driving automatic trucks on daily runs to Chicago and local customer routes. The position offers competitive mileage pay, load bonuses and a $5,000 sign‑on bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Transport intermodal containers between customers and rail yards within a 175‑mile radius of Fort Wayne.
• Perform daily drop‑and‑hook trips to Chicago and local live‑load/unload assignments.
• Maintain compliance with safety, DOT, and hazmat regulations.

Required profile

• Valid Class A CDL with at least 3 months verifiable experience.
• Clean driving record and valid DOT medical card.
• Hazmat endorsement (must be obtained within 60 days of hire, cost reimbursed).

Required skills

• Proficiency operating automatic trucks.
• Ability to perform slip‑seating and adhere to dispatch schedules.

What we offer

• Average annual compensation of $80,000–$88,000 (USD) with mileage pay $0.52–$0.62 CPM.
• Additional pay for live loads, drop‑and‑hook, delays, detention, and hazmat loads.
• $5,000 bonus and reimbursement for hazmat endorsement.
• Paid time off: 18 days in year 1, increasing to 22 days after.
