Litigation Counsel – IP & Commercial Litigation (Senior)

About the role

We are partnering with a growing boutique entertainment‑focused litigation firm in New York to add a senior litigator to its team. The role offers high‑value IP and commercial disputes, direct collaboration with founding partners, and the autonomy to build a personal client base.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex copyright, trademark, and business litigation matters for entertainment, media, fashion and related clients.
• Work closely with partners on strategy, drafting, and advocacy in high‑stakes disputes.
• Develop and originate new work, cultivating client relationships and business development opportunities.
• Provide mentorship to junior lawyers and contribute to the firm’s growth strategy.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in commercial and/or IP litigation.
• Background in a boutique, mid‑size, or comparable large law firm.
• Strong drafting, advocacy, and client‑management abilities.
• Exposure to copyright, trademark, or broader commercial disputes.
• Interest in business development and building a practice.
• Admission to practice law in New York.
