Litigation Assistant (Spanish Speaking)

About the role

Bush & Bush Law Group, which provides personal injury and employment law representation, is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Personal Injury Litigation Assistant. You will work closely with attorneys and paralegals to keep litigation processes running smoothly, handling case files, documents and trial preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and prepare legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests and correspondence
• Organize and maintain case files so they are accurate and easy to access
• Support discovery by gathering and summarizing evidence, organizing responses and making discovery binders
• Maintain case calendars and track deadlines, appointments and hearings
• Act as a point of contact for clients, giving updates on case progress
• Help prepare trial materials, including exhibits and trial binders
• Conduct basic legal research and summarize findings for attorneys

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in law or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Prior experience in a U.S. legal environment is required
• Personal injury law experience preferred; employment law experience is a strong plus
• Strong organization and attention to detail, able to handle several tasks at once
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with a customer-service approach
• Collaborative attitude in a fast-paced team

Required skills

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with legal research databases is preferred
