About the role

Join Oregano's kitchen team as a Line Cook. You will help prepare high‑quality dishes, keep your station running smoothly, and support a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

Accurately follow recipes and procedures to consistently deliver exceptional dishes.
Manage assigned station efficiently, ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety by adhering to strict sanitation standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff, including assisting with dishwashing as needed.
Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, and incidents promptly.

Required profile

High‑volume kitchen experience preferred.
Valid state‑issued food safety and handling certification.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lb, and work in hot or cold conditions.
Must be at least 16 years old (18 years for certain equipment).
