Licensed Vocational Nurse – Part‑Time Overnight

About the role

Clear Behavioral Health seeks a Licensed Vocational Nurse to provide routine technical nursing care in our detox residential facility. The role involves medication management, patient monitoring, and supporting clients through the early stages of recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Interview patients or relatives to obtain health history and immunization status.
• Perform TB testing, administer injections, and record immunizations and medications per agency policy.
• Take vital signs, maintain clinic equipment, and ensure proper supply levels.
• Audit client charts and Medication Administration Records (MAR) in the EMR system, conduct medication counts, and communicate changes with physicians and pharmacies.
• Provide 1:1 supervision for at‑risk clients, support ATA prevention, and report any intent to leave.
• Maintain staff shift logs and assist with light housekeeping in detox houses.

Required profile

• Active vocational nursing license in the state.
• Minimum two years experience with substance‑abuse, mental health, or dual‑diagnosis populations (preferred).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification and clean background check.

Required skills
