About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) joins a multidisciplinary team at Indiana Treatment Centers in Muncie, providing compassionate nursing care to individuals recovering from substance use and co‑occurring mental health disorders. Working under the supervision of an RN or clinical supervisor, the LPN plays a vital part in maintaining clinical quality and supporting a trauma‑informed, recovery‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care and support under RN direction.
• Conduct basic nursing assessments and promptly report significant findings.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, and patient stability, escalating concerns as needed.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and contribute observations on patient progress.
• Assist with medication inventory management and accurate documentation.
• Maintain thorough, timely records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Indiana.
• Experience in substance‑use, mental‑health, or similar clinical settings preferred.
• Strong observational skills and ability to communicate findings to supervising staff.
• Commitment to trauma‑informed, patient‑centered care.
