About the role

This full‑time night shift position provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including IV therapy, under the direction of a registered nurse.

Key responsibilities

Deliver direct care to assigned patients following the Licensed Practical Nurse Act.
Assist ancillary nursing staff and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.
Use the nursing process for data gathering, planning, and evaluation of patient care.
Communicate professionally with patients, families, and co‑workers to ensure a quality experience.

Required profile

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment with minimal supervision.

Required skills

IV therapy administration.
Basic Life Support (BLS) techniques.
