About the role

BetterMynd is expanding its network of licensed mental health providers to deliver video therapy sessions to college and university students across the United States. Counselors work remotely through a secure, HIPAA‑compliant platform that handles scheduling, billing, and video calls, allowing you to focus on client care.

Key responsibilities

• Provide individual video therapy sessions to students via BetterMynd’s secure platform.
• Maintain client records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Manage your own caseload and availability, ensuring a minimum of 8 hours per week.

Required profile

• Current state‑issued mental health counseling license (e.g., LPC, LCSW, PsyD).
• Master’s degree in a counseling‑related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years direct clinical experience, including college/university counseling.
• Professional malpractice liability insurance.
• Reliable high‑speed internet, computer with webcam and audio for Zoom meetings.
