Legal Solutions Consultant – Government Accounts (JD & Military Background)

About the role

Join LexisNexis Legal & Professional as a Legal Solutions Consultant focused on government agency accounts. You will help legal professionals adopt cutting‑edge technology, deliver training, and drive long‑term success while growing revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultative services to legal customers and prospects to maximize use of LexisNexis products.
• Communicate credibly with clients, understand their challenges, and offer guidance, education, and consultation.
• Deliver specialized presentations, articulate value propositions, and highlight competitor differentiators to retain and expand revenue.
• Collaborate with sales partners on strategy, preference building, and strategic account planning.
• Identify and share leads and opportunities with sales partners or product specialists.
• Conduct competitor research, analyze findings, and share insights with product, segment, and marketing teams.
• Gather feature and function intelligence from customers to inform future product roadmaps.
• Utilize required processes, tools, and systems effectively.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel 5‑7 days per month and work onsite 1‑2 days per week.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and manage a territory.
• Strong relationship‑building skills both internally and externally.
• Ability to partner and collaborate across multiple teams.
• Legal research experience or expertise.
• Demonstrated experience practicing law.
• Proven sales or training experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Juris Doctorate and an active Bar license.
