Legal Researcher (Lawyer) – Remote Contractor

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Lawyer or Legal Researcher to join our remote team on a contract basis. The role involves conducting in‑depth legal and academic research, synthesising findings, and producing polished documents for high‑profile clients.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, format, and review complex Word and PDF documents using advanced features such as tracked changes and data extraction.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including legal, healthcare, policy, and finance professionals—to support diverse project needs.
• Translate complex research findings into clear, concise reports and presentations that meet Fortune 500 standards.
• Evaluate and synthesize academic literature, legal documents, and industry data to inform project outcomes.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with designated guidelines in all written deliverables.

Required profile

• Minimum relevant professional experience in academic research, legal, policy, healthcare, or related sectors.
• Master’s degree, PhD, or JD from a recognised institution.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote, deadline‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word (tracked changes, document formatting).
• PDF editing and data extraction capabilities.
