About the role

We are seeking a motivated law clerk to support our attorneys in New Jersey or New York. This position is ideal for a current law school student with strong research and writing abilities who wants hands‑on experience in litigation preparation.

Key responsibilities

Draft and review legal memoranda to verify citations in attorneys’ briefs.
Prepare subpoenas, motions, and other court documents.
Track docket deadlines and manage filing requirements for circuit and federal courts.
Collaborate with senior and junior attorneys, paralegals, and other clerks on case preparation.

Required profile

Current enrollment in a law school program.
Residency in New Jersey or New York.
Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to legal ethics.
Ability to work independently and as part of a legal team.

Required skills

Legal research proficiency.
Legal writing and memorandum preparation.
Familiarity with court filing procedures.

What we offer

Hourly compensation ranging from $25 to $40, depending on experience.
