Contract Lawyer – Commercial & Transactional

About the role

We are seeking experienced U.S.-licensed lawyers to join our team on a freelance basis, focusing on commercial and transactional matters. You will work on a variety of contracts, providing senior‑level expertise to create, review, and refine contractual documents and negotiation playbooks.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and redline commercial contracts across diverse industries.
• Evaluate and improve company negotiation playbooks, ensuring alignment with standard positions.
• Produce comprehensive senior‑level redlines and objective criteria for assessing AI‑generated contract reviews.
• Analyze counterparty paperwork against internal playbooks and provide actionable feedback.

Required profile

• Active license to practice law in the United States.
• Professional experience in commercial or transactional law, with hands‑on drafting, reviewing, and redlining of contracts.
• Background that includes both law‑firm and in‑house contract work.
• Comfortable reviewing counterparty documents against established company standards.
