Legal Counsel – SaaS & Technology Law

About the role

bolt is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide expert SaaS and technology legal support across its US operations. You will partner with business units to navigate legal risks, support sales contracting, product development, and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted strategic partner for all bolt business units, initially focusing on Sales and Product.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including SaaS licensing, data protection agreements, technology procurement contracts, SLAs, and vendor agreements.
• Support the end‑to‑end sales contracting process and new product initiatives, including AI‑driven offerings.
• Monitor legislative developments affecting the tech and insurance sectors and advise on compliance.
• Conduct periodic risk reviews, assess legal implications of digital initiatives, and promote a culture of compliance.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to provide solution‑oriented legal guidance aligned with business objectives.
• Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating legal risks.
• Experience in a fast‑moving technology or insurance environment.
• Excellent communication skills to convey complex legal concepts to non‑legal stakeholders.
