Legal Counsel – Regulatory Attorney

About the role

Judi Health is seeking a dynamic regulatory attorney to serve as Legal Counsel. You will provide strategic legal advice on healthcare regulations, identify risks, and help align legal solutions with business objectives. The role requires a deep understanding of the company’s operational goals and the ability to work closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, analyze, and interpret federal and state healthcare legislation, proposed regulations, and guidance.
• Assess regulatory developments and advise on their impact on strategy, operations, and provider relationships.
• Provide risk‑based legal guidance for regulatory change initiatives, including implementation planning and cross‑functional execution.
• Develop and deliver clear legal summaries and recommendations to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
• Support internal policy updates to ensure alignment with evolving regulatory requirements.
• Advise on compliance matters covering medical, prescription, privacy, security, HR, provider relations, and contracting.
• Draft, review, and negotiate provider agreements and related amendments.
• Collaborate with compliance, government affairs, operations, and business teams to proactively mitigate legal and regulatory risks.

Required profile

• Licensed attorney with substantial experience in healthcare regulatory law.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret complex legislation and translate it into practical business guidance.
• Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to risk identification.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of U.S. federal and state healthcare regulations.
• Experience drafting and negotiating provider contracts.
• Ability to develop and update internal policies in response to regulatory changes.
