Legal Counsel – Media

About the role

Rumble is seeking an experienced attorney to serve as Legal Counsel for its media and advertising businesses. The role will support commercial contracting, intellectual property management, and emerging digital‑asset initiatives, including non‑custodial crypto products. This position is ideal for a lawyer with 5–10 years of relevant experience who can provide practical, business‑focused legal advice.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements such as vendor, services, talent, licensing, nondisclosure, and technology contracts.
• Provide legal guidance on intellectual property, marketing, content, risk, compliance, and privacy matters.
• Review advertising, social‑media, rights, and clearance materials to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Content, Sales, HR, Finance, Tech, and Product teams to align legal advice with business objectives.
• Maintain and improve contract templates, playbooks, and related processes.
• Support legal operations, including matter and document management and internal training on legal policies.

Required profile

• 5–10 years of legal experience, preferably a mix of in‑house and law‑firm work.
• Strong background drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Experience in media, entertainment, digital content, or advertising sectors.
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Ability to obtain any additional in‑house authorizations required by the company’s location.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Rumble office locations.

• Annual base salary ranging from $110,000 to $150,000 USD.
