Legal Counsel – BMR Division

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join the BMR division of Sollio Groupe Coopératif. The position offers a hybrid work model and direct interaction with senior management, providing exposure to a broad range of legal matters across commercial, franchise, corporate, litigation, and intellectual property law.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary legal advisor for the BMR division and its subsidiaries.
• Handle matters in commercial law, franchise law, corporate law, dispute management, and intellectual property.
• Provide timely legal advice to internal clients to support business decisions.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts.
• Conduct legal research, prepare analyses, and issue written legal opinions.

Required profile

• Member in good standing of the Bar of Quebec.
• 10+ years of experience in commercial or corporate law, either in a law firm or in‑house.
• Excellent written and analytical abilities.
• Strong adaptability to a fast‑paced environment.
• Team spirit, integrity, rigor, and autonomy.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
