Legal Assistant / Paralegal – Shreveport

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support our personal injury litigation team in Shreveport. You will work in a fast‑moving environment, handling client communications, case research, and document management.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate daily with clients, attorneys, and other parties via phone, email, and in‑person.
• Conduct legal research and request, organize, and maintain supporting documents.
• Review, upload, and process correspondence using our case management software.
• Schedule and maintain the attorney’s calendar and attend client meetings.
• Prepare demand letters, respond to discovery, and draft pleadings.
• Write medical record summaries and ensure billing accuracy.

Required profile

• Associate degree or equivalent experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal, preferably in personal injury litigation.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to understand and interpret legal documents.

Required skills

• Proficiency with case management software.
