About the role

The College of Arts, Sciences, and Education (CASE) at Texas A&M University‑Texarkana seeks a dedicated Lecturer of Physics to develop, coordinate, and teach undergraduate physics courses. This non‑tenure‑track faculty position supports the growth of high‑quality physics education and contributes to the college’s short‑ and long‑term goals.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned physics courses (approximately 15 credit hours per semester).
• Collaborate with faculty across disciplines to enhance curriculum.
• Develop and update course materials and assessments.
• Serve on departmental, college, and university committees as assigned.
• Participate in professional committees and outreach activities.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Physics or a closely related field with at least 18 graduate‑level credit hours in physics.
• Demonstrated ability to teach a range of physics courses.
• Passion for teaching foundational physics concepts and evidence of teaching excellence.
• Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills.
