About the role

The Receptionist is the friendly face of Alma del Mar Charter School, greeting families and handling front‑desk operations in a fast‑paced K‑8 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Warmly welcome families and manage adult and scholar sign‑in logs, including tardies and dismissals.
• Answer phone calls, take messages, and schedule meetings between families and staff, especially during high‑volume periods.
• Support set‑up and break‑down of school events such as family conferences, professional development sessions, and graduation ceremonies.
• Maintain professional customer service during stressful or high‑volume situations.

Required profile

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (read, write, speak).
• Proficient with email and digital calendar tools.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, both independently and collaboratively.
• Well‑organized, detail‑oriented, and adaptable to new technologies.
