About the role
The school seeks a dedicated assistant basketball coach to support the varsity and junior varsity programs. The position involves planning and leading after‑school practices, assisting with games, and fostering a Christ‑centered athletic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Head Varsity Coach in preparing and conducting practices and games, including equipment management.
- Ensure compliance with Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association rules and school policies.
- Provide supervision and guidance to student‑athletes during practices, games, travel, and off‑campus activities.
- Attend required staff meetings, complete rule tests, and maintain equipment security.
- Support budgeting recommendations and uphold the school’s mission of faith‑based competition.
Required profile
- Sincere follower of Christ called to serve in a support capacity.
- Experience playing and/or coaching basketball with a high sense of professionalism.
