Leasing Professional – Westminster Row

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue and resident retention for the Westminster Row community. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospect outreach to lease signing and resident move‑in, while ensuring a high‑quality living experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and showcase available apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues, and ensure apartments are ready for residents.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and implement concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple leasing activities and marketing initiatives.
• Knowledge of local rental market dynamics and competitor offerings.
• Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance and management teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Experience using online marketing tools including Craigslist, Facebook, and email platforms.
• Competence in conducting credit screenings and background checks.
