Leasing Professional – Union Heights Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing and renewal strategies for the Union Heights community, driving occupancy, revenue and resident retention. You will guide prospective residents through the leasing process and ensure a positive experience throughout their tenancy.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications, including credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease documents, move‑in packages and oversee smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect units before occupancy and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Experience conducting leasing activities and interacting with prospective residents.
• Ability to inspect units and coordinate with maintenance teams.
• Knowledge of local market conditions and competitive leasing strategies.
• Proficiency in creating and implementing marketing plans.
