Leasing Professional – The Monroe

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue, and resident retention for a stabilized mid‑rise community of 244 units. You will manage the full leasing cycle, from prospecting to move‑in, while ensuring resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, and prepare lease packages to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance, and maintain show‑unit standards.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, resident data, and leasing activity.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls, and thank‑you notes to ensure satisfaction and secure lease renewals.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance) and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays and occasional on‑call duties.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Experience using internet marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email platforms).
