Maintenance Supervisor – The Monroe Community

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the technical and mechanical upkeep of The Monroe community, a 244‑unit mid‑rise property. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders, diagnose issues and perform repairs in line with safety codes and company policies.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, parking areas and shared facilities.
• Conduct periodic inspections of team members’ work and of contractors to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative‑maintenance tasks and document completed work.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably in a residential community.
• Strong problem‑solving ability to identify root causes of defects and implement effective repairs.
• Excellent organizational skills for scheduling vendors, managing inventory and overseeing make‑ready activities.
• Ability to work a Monday‑Friday schedule with rotating on‑call responsibilities.
• Commitment to upholding safety standards and regulatory compliance.
