Leasing Professional - The Lofts at King Mill

About the role

A Leasing Professional is hired to coordinate the community's marketing, leasing and renewal strategy at The Lofts at King Mill, a stabilized mid-rise apartment building with 245 units. The goal is to achieve occupancy and revenue targets while retaining residents. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, with rotating weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and lease apartments: greet and qualify prospects, give tours, process applications, run credit and background checks, prepare leases and move-in packages, and ensure a smooth move-in.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and schedule repairs with the maintenance team.
• Track market and competitor conditions, develop marketing plans and follow concession and special programs to sustain occupancy.
• Run marketing activities such as resident referrals, employer outreach and online advertising, and use property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability and resident data.
• Keep show units and the leasing office in top condition and follow up with prospects and new residents.
• Support lease renewals by preparing renewal letters and packages and following up with residents before they move out.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner questions and requests.

Required profile

• All state and local licenses and certifications required for the job.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for long periods, work indoors and outdoors in all weather, and lift up to 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with help.
• Flexible schedule, including call-outs on evenings, weekends and holidays; occasional travel to other properties or training.

What we offer

• Hourly pay of $18.00 - $20.00, with possible weekly, monthly or quarterly bonuses depending on whether the role is onsite or corporate.
