Leasing Professional - The Prado

About the role

The Leasing Professional at The Prado, a Greystar community in Del Valle, Texas, coordinates the community's marketing, leasing and renewal strategy to reach occupancy, revenue and resident retention goals. The role covers all leasing activities, resident satisfaction during the lease term and lease renewals. It is a full-time position with an hourly range of $17.00-$18.00.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and lease apartments: greet and qualify prospects, give tours, process applications, run credit and criminal background checks, prepare leases and move-in packages, and ensure a smooth move-in.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and schedule outstanding items with the maintenance team.
• Track market and competitor conditions, develop marketing plans and follow concession and special programs to sustain occupancy.
• Run marketing activities such as resident referral and employer outreach, and use online tools (Craigslist, Facebook, e-mail).
• Use on-site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, traffic and resident data.
• Keep show units and the leasing office in top condition and follow up with prospects and new residents.
• Support lease renewals with renewal letters and packages, and respond promptly to resident and owner concerns.

Required profile

• All state and local licenses and certifications required for the job.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Able to stand, walk or sit for long periods, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb alone and 50 lb with help, and work indoors and outdoors in all weather.
• Rare or regular travel to other properties, training or meetings may be required.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including call duty on evenings, weekends and holidays.
