Leasing Professional - Laurel Preston Hollow

About the role

A full-time Leasing Professional is needed for the Laurel Preston Hollow community in Dallas, Texas. The role coordinates the community's marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to reach occupancy, revenue and resident retention goals, covering everything from welcoming prospects to lease renewals.

Key responsibilities

• Sell and lease apartments: greet and qualify prospects, give tours, process applications, run credit and background checks, prepare leases and move-in packages, and ensure a smooth move-in.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and schedule outstanding items with the maintenance team.
• Stay informed on market and competitor conditions, develop short- and long-term marketing plans, and follow concession and special programs.
• Run marketing activities such as resident referral and employer outreach, and use online tools (Craigslist, Facebook, e-mail).
• Use on-site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, traffic and resident data.
• Keep show units and the leasing office in top condition, and follow up with prospects and new residents.
• Support lease renewals with renewal letters and packages, and respond promptly to resident and owner concerns.

Required profile

• All state and local licenses and certifications required for the role.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for long periods, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb alone and 50 lb with help, and work indoors and outdoors in all weather.
• Flexible schedule including call-outs on evenings, weekends and holidays; occasional travel to other properties or training.
