Leasing Professional - The Cortesian

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for The Cortesian community, driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and manage lease sign‑ups and move‑ins.
• Inspect units before move‑in, ensure readiness, and coordinate any maintenance needs.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral and employer outreach programs.
• Utilize property management software to track availability, traffic, and resident data.
• Maintain show‑unit standards, inspect marketing corridors, and prepare the leasing office daily.
• Follow up with prospects and residents to ensure satisfaction and support lease renewals.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional on‑call duties.

Required skills

• Proficiency with on‑site property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
