Asset Management Summer Analyst Internship

About the role

Join Greystar as an Asset Management Summer Analyst and help maximize portfolio performance across multifamily assets. You will analyze property and financial data, support budgeting and forecasting, and evaluate operational trends while gaining exposure to both asset and property management functions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze financial, operational, and market data to support portfolio performance evaluations.
• Assist in preparing client‑facing reports, portfolio reviews, and property performance presentations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes for multifamily assets.
• Review revenue, expense, occupancy, and rent trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Conduct market research and competitive analyses to aid due‑diligence and strategic decision‑making.
• Evaluate property performance against budgets and key financial benchmarks.
• Partner with asset and property management teams on operational and financial initiatives.
• Complete a capstone project and present findings to team leaders at the end of the internship.

Required profile

• Strong desire to learn about real estate investment and asset management.
• Analytical mindset with strong quantitative and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
• Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in finance, real estate, business, economics, or a related field.
• Graduating between December 2027 and May 2028.

Required skills

• Foundational Excel skills.
• Basic financial modeling abilities.
