Leasing Professional (Temporary) – Bellrock Sawyer Yards

About the role

Greystar is seeking a temporary Leasing Professional to support the Bellrock Sawyer Yards community in Houston. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue, and resident satisfaction through proactive marketing, leasing, and renewal activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect units before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure readiness.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident data.
• Maintain show unit standards and ensure compliance with company policies on concessions and specials.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet occupancy targets.
• Detail‑oriented approach to lease documentation and unit inspections.
• Knowledge of local rental market dynamics.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in online marketing tools (Craigslist, Facebook, email platforms).
• Basic understanding of credit screening and background check processes.
