Maintenance Supervisor (Lease Up) – Ten & Green

About the role

This full‑time position oversees technical and mechanical work to ensure that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and making repairs according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor scheduling, supply ordering, maintenance tasks and final inspections.
• Develop and enforce standards for community appearance, inspecting work performed by staff and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, assist with budgeting for repairs, capital projects and cost‑control initiatives.
• Conduct monthly preventative maintenance, safety meetings and ensure OSHA, MSDS and other safety requirements are met.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience; background in property management maintenance or a related trade.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely, read and interpret technical documents, and provide strong customer service to residents and team members.
• Proficiency with internet, word processing, spreadsheets and database programs; property management system experience is preferred.

Required skills

• EPA Type I and Type II (or Universal) certification for HVAC refrigerant handling.
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
