Leasing Professional - Rosina Vista

About the role

A full-time Leasing Professional is needed for the stabilized 278-unit community Rosina Vista in Chula Vista, California. The role coordinates the community's marketing, leasing and renewal strategies to reach occupancy, revenue and resident retention goals, covering leasing to new residents, resident satisfaction and lease renewals. Weekend availability is required, 9am-6pm subject to business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and leasing: greet and qualify prospects, give tours, process applications, run credit and background checks, prepare leases and move-in packages, and ensure a smooth move-in.
• Inspect apartments before move-in and schedule outstanding items with maintenance.
• Track market and competitor conditions, develop marketing plans and follow concession and special programs.
• Run marketing activities such as resident referral and employer outreach, and use online tools like Craigslist, Facebook and e-mail.
• Use on-site property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, traffic and resident data.
• Keep show units and the leasing office in top condition and follow up with prospects and new residents.
• Support lease renewals with renewal letters and packages, and respond promptly to resident and owner concerns.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of previous leasing experience; CRM platform experience preferred.
• All state and local licenses and certifications required, and a valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, climb ladders, lift up to 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with help, and work in all weather; occasional travel to other properties or training.
• Flexible schedule including call-outs on evenings, weekends and holidays.

• Pay of $23-$24 per hour, with possible weekly, monthly or quarterly bonuses for onsite positions.
