Leasing Manager - The Greyson

About the role

The Leasing Manager at The Greyson in Jersey City, New Jersey is responsible for directing the community's marketing, advertising, sales and leasing activities to achieve revenue, occupancy, resident retention and leasing goals. The position is full time and pays $30.00-$32.00 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Direct marketing, advertising and sales activities, oversee on-site traffic, maintain an inventory of ready apartments, set rent pricing and concessions, and monitor day-to-day sales and leasing.
• Stay informed on market and competitor conditions, develop short- and long-term marketing plans, and run pricing, concession and advertising strategies to boost traffic and leases.
• Develop print and internet advertising, use technology to reach prospects, and use the company's property management software to generate sales and leasing reports.
• Work with the maintenance team to keep the community safe and attractive, inspect ready units, create mini-models and use merchandising techniques.
• Take part in the leasing process: generate traffic, lease apartments, qualify prospects, prepare lease documents and complete move-ins.
• Analyze financial, shop, traffic and closing ratio reports, make presentations to clients and owners, and oversee the lease renewal program.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner concerns, and supervise the leasing team through hiring, training and performance management.

Required profile

• All licenses and certifications required by state and local jurisdictions.
• Valid driver's license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Able to stand, walk, sit, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with help, and work indoors and outdoors in all weather.
• Rare or regular travel may be required, and a flexible schedule including call duty on evenings, weekends and holidays.
