Leasing Professional – Mailman Post Community

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing and renewal efforts for the Mailman Post community in Knightdale, NC. The role focuses on driving occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction throughout the leasing cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements and move‑in packages, ensuring smooth resident move‑in experiences.
• Inspect units before occupancy, coordinate with maintenance to resolve any issues.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect data and generate reports.

Required profile

• Experience conducting leasing activities and interacting with prospective residents.
• Ability to maintain unit readiness and coordinate with maintenance teams.
• Strong awareness of local market conditions and competitive landscape.
