Leasing Professional – Lease‑Up Specialist

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to lead the lease‑up of a new 120‑unit community in Sisal. The role combines sales, resident services and marketing to achieve high occupancy, revenue and resident retention.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospective residents, conduct tours and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, prepare lease documents and coordinate smooth move‑ins.
• Inspect units before occupancy, coordinate any maintenance needed to ensure move‑in ready condition.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans to sustain occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to manage leads, applications and resident data.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of leasing experience; lease‑up and affordable housing experience preferred.
• Availability to work Thursday‑Monday, including weekends, 9 am‑6 pm.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to meet occupancy and revenue targets.
