Assistant Community Manager (Lease‑Up)

About the role

Greystar is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager in the financial and operational management of a lease‑up community of 120 units in Sisal. The role involves daily accounting tasks, rent collection, invoice processing, and use of property‑management software.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily bank deposits and reconcile accounts.
• Process invoices from vendors and contractors, obtain approvals, and code charges to the appropriate chart of accounts.
• Prepare monthly close‑out reports, financial statements, and other operational reports.
• Operate Yardi/OneSite software, ensuring accurate data entry, updates, and system integrity.
• Review resident files for delinquent balances, communicate with residents, and enforce lease terms to maximize revenue.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of assistant community management experience.
• Experience in affordable housing and lease‑up environments.
• One‑site experience preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Yardi or OneSite property‑management software.
• Basic accounting and bookkeeping skills.
• Ability to handle bank deposits, reconciliations, and invoice processing.
