Leasing Professional (Lease Up) – The Lucille

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Professional (Lease Up) to join the team at The Lucille in Waco. In this role you will drive leasing activity, manage resident move‑ins and support renewal efforts to meet occupancy and revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit screening and criminal background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and ensure smooth resident move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing activities, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing (Craigslist, Facebook, email).
• Use on‑site property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, and manage resident data.

Required profile

• Experience in residential leasing or property management.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to build resident satisfaction.
• Knowledge of local rental market trends and competitor activity.
• Ability to conduct apartment inspections and coordinate with maintenance teams.
• Proficiency in using property management software and internet marketing tools.
