Leasing Professional – Garden-Style Community

About the role

The Leasing Professional will coordinate marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for a garden‑style community of 331 units. This role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals while ensuring a positive leasing experience for new and existing residents.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sales and leasing activities, including greeting prospects, qualifying leads, conducting tours, processing applications, credit and background checks, preparing lease documents, and facilitating smooth move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before resident move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising using platforms like Craigslist, Facebook, and email.
• Utilize property management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi) to track unit availability, record leasing activity, manage prospect data, and capture demographic information.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of local rental market trends and competitor activity.
